About Bali:

Covering an area of a little over 100 Km, Bali is an equatorial land with a population of around 40 lakhs, predominantly Balinese Hindus. Bali, known for wide spread architecture with temples numbering in hundreds, has a distinct characteristic of traditional aesthetic principles using the island’s ancient culture and artistry in every design element of the structures. Rich in resources Bali is a land of variety of species of birds, butterflies, fruits, miles of beautiful beaches and culturally rich people.

  • Macro Frames at Butterfly Park, Landscape Frames at Uluwatu.
  • Birding Frames at Bali Bird Park and Landscape Frames at Tanah Lot.
  • Architectural Frames at Ubud Palace , Street Frames at Ubud Market and Nature Frames at Monkey Forest.
  • The Last day is a leisure for participants to explore Bali on their own, either enjoy water sports with friends or go shopping.

Accommodation:

Bali Accomadation

We will be staying at the grand Ibis Legian, Bali. Ibis is a famous international brand run by Accor group of hotels.

Legian is a beachfront town in South Bali, located north of Kuta. Legian offers easy access to shops and myriad restaurants with more relaxed and less chaotic feeling than Kuta. This area has very high profile visitors due to the lovely beach frontage. Ibis is an ideal choice of accommodation, located strategically in Legian Street with easy access to authentic Balinese souvenir shops and Double Six beach. Enjoy delectable cuisine at ibis Kitchen Restaurant and light snacks at Pool Bar where one can enjoy the sunset from rooftop swimming pool.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive at Bali and check in at the hotel. Start for the Welcome Gala Dinner aboard the luxury Catamaran Cruise at 4.15pm. Enjoy the sunset that are just seen on beautiful post cards and even better, as this time it is you capturing the magical photos to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 2: Time for some serious photography! Our focus will be on learning, enjoying and capturing great photos. Shoot Bob mentors will guide you with best locations, camera functions and composition techniques. Visit Ulun Danu Beratan Temple located at Candi Kuning on the countryside of Bali - an Architectural marvel with a beautiful lake surrounded by hills followed by Kebun Raya Gardens. After visiting the lush green rice terraces of Jatiluwih we head back to hotel. Post dinner a quick review and feedback session of the images captured during the day by Shoot Bob mentors.

 Day 3: Travel to the unique Tenganan village to capture people portraits, culture and lifestyle images. Tenganan is an ancient traditional village in Bali, which is usually referred as “Bali Aga”. Bali Aga refers to a village that still holds the original traditions and rules of ancient Balinese people. The houses are designed in a traditional way, people still hold the religious ceremonies, and live the ancient Balinese lifestyle of being pure and clean.

Day 4: This day we visit the Butterfly park where you get to capture many colorful butterflies that are sensitive which makes it very hard to photograph them. Nevertheless to overcome this, Shoot Bob mentors will assist you on the camera functions and compositions. Followed by this, visit the picturesque Uluwatu temple where we shoot the magnificent seascapes.

Day 5: Bali “Bird Park” houses some of the exotic birds found around the world. You don’t have to travel the planet to capture these amazingly vibrant birds. Followed by “Bird Park” we travel to Tanah Lot and capture the ever expansive landscape/seascape that depicts mighty nature’s canvas.

Day 6: Visit “Ubud Palace” to capture the wonderful architecture of ancient Balinese kingdom. Followed by the palace, visit the Ubud Art Market to capture the busy streets. We now head towards a unique sanctuary called “Monkey forest” – a place filled with hundreds of monkeys.

Day 7: A free day! Explore Bali on your own. You could also shop or do some water sports.

Day 8: A free morning for beach walks or some last minute shopping. Pack up and checkout the hotel at 11 am. Return to Bangalore with awesome images and memories.

Inclusions:

  • All photography sessions at various destinations, expert photography tips & assistance, reviews & feedback on images.
  • Gala Dinner & Sunset Cruise on Day 1.
  • 7 nights stay at Ibis Hotel (Rooms are on twin sharing basis only).
  • Breakfast at Ibis Hotel for 7 days.
  • All local transportation to the places mentioned in the itinerary.
  • All entry tickets to the places mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Travel insurance during the trip.
  • 1 ltr mineral water bottle per day.

Exclusions :

  • All flight tickets and Airport Transfers.
  • Visa and documentations.
  • Lunch & Dinner on all days (Except Gala dinner on day 1).
  • Transportation on Free Days i.e. Day 7 & 8.
  • All Shopping, Mini bar usage at hotel and Beverages.
  • Security deposit against minibar usage at the hotel (refundable if not used).
  • Any cost that is not included in the inclusion list.

Important Note:

  • The tour starts on 23rd September 2016 @ 14:00 Hrs at Ibis Hotel and ends on 30th September 2016 @ 10:30 Hrs.
  • To enjoy the Gala Dinner at the Cruise, participants are requested to be at Ibis Hotel on 23rd September 2016 by 14:00 Hrs.
  • Cost of any additional stay at the Hotel, early check-in/ late check-out shall be borne by the participant.
  • Participants will be solely responsible and liable for any damage or loss or fines caused by them at the hotel, transportation vehicle or any place during the tour.
  • Participants are solely responsible for their belongings including camera equipment at all times during the tour.
  • Smoking & consuming alcohol is strictly prohibited during photography sessions.

Camera Gears (Minimum requirement):

  • Any DSLR with standard zoom lens (18-55mm) and telephoto zoom lens (55-200mm) OR any advanced compact camera with at least 8x optical zoom.
  • 16 Gb memory card for camera.
  • Tripod.

  • Ultra-wide angle lens (for landscapes/ seascapes).
  • Extra Battery and Memory cards.

Cancellation:

  • >30 days prior to date of tour - 60% refund.
  • 16-30 days prior to the date of tour - 40% refund.
  • ≤15 days prior to the date of the tour - NO refund.
