Professional Photography Course

This is a professional certificate course designed by Shoot Bob in association with Tamron India, where you will be learning right from basics to the most advanced concepts in photography. The methodology of the curriculum includes a lot of practical learning supported by theory and visuals. This course will also help you network with talented photographers in the industry.

The objective of this course is to give you in-depth knowledge about photography and to help you take baby steps into photography as a profession.

Duration & Timings

Batch 3 will be held on 3 continuous weekends, on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 12.30 pm. The course starts on Saturday, 6th May 2017 and ends on Sunday, 21st May 2017.

2 outdoor session will be held in Cubbon Park on Sunday the 14th and 21st May from 7 am to 9 am.

Since photography is a continuous learning process, we will be adding you to our Shoot Bob Facebook Group, where you could upload your work, in our free time we would review it (review helps a lot in improving your photography skills and in the outside world you seldom get constructive feedback on your images from professionals) and clarify your doubts online, this we shall do even after the end of this course. You could also join any of our photo tours and events in the future to further enhance your photography skills.

Required Equipment

  1. DSLR with standard zoom lens or similar will be required to learn and practice the concepts as many topics are related to DSLR cameras. It would be great to also have a 50mm 1.8 prime lens if possible.
  2. The least minimum requirement (we still highly recommend a DSLR) would need candidates to bring any point and shoot camera that has a Manual (M) mode.
  3. A Laptop with full or trial version of "Adobe Lightroom 4 or above" image editing software is a must and only required during the post processing sessions. The trial version can be easily downloaded from the internet and installed, we shall guide you about it during the course. If you do not have a laptop, then you can take note of things during the post processing sessions but you will not be able to practice and it would not be an effective learning experience.
